In 2020, China’s annual output of bicycles will exceed 80 million, and the average annual output of electric bicycles will exceed 30 million. China’s social ownership of bicycles will reach nearly 400 million, and the number of electric bicycles will be nearly 300 million.
As an important means of transportation for people’s livelihood, electric bicycles are used for residents’ daily transportation and leisure and entertainment. With the continuous advancement of urbanization and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, people have also put forward more suitable requirements for transportation and travel methods. Electric bicycles are very popular because of their economy, energy saving and convenience. On the other hand, urbanization and economic development have brought about a rapid increase in the number of urban population and motor vehicles, and problems such as traffic congestion and urban environmental pollution have become more and more prominent. In recent years, the rapid development of electric bicycles has effectively alleviated the traffic pressure of short-distance travel and is in line with the development trend of a harmonious and orderly modern transportation system. The electric bicycle industry has received extensive attention and strong support from the government.
